What started as a genuine appeal for help for a stricken fellow radio amateur has now morphed into a refunding nightmare! Basically, since Tom KC0W does not want any donations, I must now refund everyone who took the time and effort to support this initiative. For sure there was a lot of support out there for this type of initiative and ham spirit is alive and well !
So far ALL who personally donated via paypal have been refunded.
For those who donated via the Just Giving page it becomes more complicated. In short I must wait 30 days before the final donated amount is available…meaning all 62 supporters also have to wait for a refund. This is not ideal, but it’s the Just Giving policy
Rest assured everyone will be refunded. Just it will take longer than anticipated. If, however, you prefer a refund now instead of waiting, I am happy to transfer your donated amount from my personal bank account back to you.

Fundraising is never easy, but it becomes even more difficult when a person does not want any funds raised, hi!

Ce qui a commencé comme un véritable appel à l’aide pour un amateur de radio compatriotes frappés est maintenant transformé en un cauchemar pour remboursement! Fondamentalement, puisque Tom KC0W ne veut pas de dons, je dois maintenant rembourser tous ceux qui ont pris le temps et d’efforts pour soutenir cette initiative. Pour sûr qu’il y avait beaucoup de soutien là-bas pour ce type d’initiative et de l’esprit Radioamateur est bien vivant!
Jusqu’à présent TOUT qui a personnellement fait don via paypal ont été remboursés.
Pour ceux qui ont fait don via le Just Giving page il devient plus compliqué. En bref, je dois attendre 30 jours avant le montant final donné est disponible … signifie que tous les 62 supporters ont aussi d’attendre un remboursement. Ce n’est pas idéale, mais elle est la Just Giving policy
Rassurez-vous tout le monde sera remboursé. Tout cela prendra plus longtemps que prévu. Toutefois, si vous préférez un remboursement maintenant au lieu d’attendre, je suis heureux de transférer le montant de votre don de mon compte bancaire personnel à vous.

La collecte de fonds est jamais facile, mais il devient encore plus difficile quand une personne ne veut pas de fonds, salut!
