Lebyazh’i Islands
During the period 17 to 20 May, 2019 a team consisting Anatoly R6AW, Oleg R7LP, Gennady R3BY, Maxim RU5D and Yuri RX6CM, with the support of the Russian Robinson Club, plan activity as R3RRC/6 (and with personal callsigns) from Lebyazh’i Islands, Black Sea Coast group, IOTA EU-180, RRA RR 24-08 (NEW ONE) and Lebyazh’i Islands Reserve RFF-112 (NEW ONE), RDA RK-23, Black Sea, Republic of Crimea.
QRV on SSB/CW, two stations on 40 to 10 meters. QSL manager for callsign R3RRC/6 is Eugene RZ3EC (OQRS Club Log after the expedition, direct, bureau).

Henry, NL0H, will travel on business to St. Lawrence Island, NA-040 (Alaska) during May 16 to 20. He will bring a rig and wire antennas. Unfortunately, there is a CME expected to produce some serious geomagnetic disturbances between May 16-18. He will attempt to be on 20m & 30m SSB and FT8 as much as propagation conditions and workload will allow.

The DX-Radio Amateur Club of Karditsa on 19-05-2019 from 05:00 to 16:00 UTC at Lake Nikolaos Plastiras, Karditsa (botanical garden), Grid Square KM09UG, is going to raise a meteorological type balloon with ham antenna at a height of 80m. Look for SZ4KRD/P on HF (SSB). Focus on 80 & 160m.

Z2LA and 7P8LB team members are planning a trip to Zambia during early March 2020.
The license application form has been received and will shortly be forwarded with request of call sign 9J2LA. A web page is under construction and will be released during the summer. Facebook will be used for “Breaking news” the weeks before departure and during the Expedition.
The team have two new members: Morten (LB8DC) and Morten (LA3MHA). They will focus on CW and FT8 for the low bands and CW, SSB, FT8 for higher bands. QSO director and direct upload to Club Log will be used if internet access is available. QSL via M0OXO.

NEWS UPDATE – Nine of the VP6R team had a very productive last weekend in Peoria, Illinois. You can read about their progress and view some images here. The next time the team lay hands on this gear will be when they off-load it from the Braveheart and take it ashore on Pitcairn Island.
