In April 2021, NCDXF announced the creation of an award – “The DXcellence Award”. To be awarded to the outstanding DXpedition of the last twelve months, which received funding from NCDXF. The award is intended to recognize excellent in a DXpedition, exemplified by practices, ethics, management, transparency, impact upon the DXing community, and lastly exhibited FUN!
The winner of the award is determined by the NCDXF Board of Directors. The board considers several factors, including performance, complexity of the DXpedition, impact on Clublog most wanted ranking. Especially important are activities associated with humanitarian and education.
On celebration of our 50th year of operation, NCDXF is proud to award our first NCDXF DXcellence Award to the S9OK Sao Tome DXpedition. Their team did a terrific job and after contact with Zorro, JH1AJT, planned a visit to the local schools. Useful gifts were given to the children for the classrooms and the children’s response was joy and happiness.
The NCDXF looks forward to other DXpeditions this year that will qualify for the next award in 2023. We are hopeful that many DXpeditions will be funded by NCDXF and qualify for this award. Congratulations to S90K on the first award!
The mission of NCDXF is to provide necessary financial support for well-organized DXpeditions to desirable DXCC entities and to support advances in DXpeditioning skills, technology, and infrastructure. Le prix est destiné à récompenser l’excellence dans une DXpedition, illustrée par les pratiques, l’éthique, la gestion, la transparence, l’impact sur la communauté DXing et enfin le FUN exposé !
Le gagnant du prix est déterminé par le conseil d’administration du NCDXF. Le conseil d’administration prend en compte plusieurs facteurs, notamment les performances, la complexité de la DXpedition, l’impact sur le classement Clublog le plus recherché. Les activités liées à l’humanitaire et à l’éducation sont particulièrement importantes.
À l’occasion de la célébration de notre 50e année d’activité, NCDXF est fier de décerner son premier prix NCDXF DXcellence au the S9OK Sao Tome DXpedition.
Leur équipe a fait un travail formidable et après contact avec Zorro, JH1AJT, a planifié une visite dans les écoles locales. Des cadeaux utiles ont été donnés aux enfants pour les salles de classe et la réponse des enfants a été la joie et le bonheur.
Le NCDXF attend avec impatience d’autres expéditions DX cette année qui se qualifieront pour le prochain prix en 2023. Nous espérons que de nombreuses expéditions DX seront financées par NCDXF et se qualifieront pour ce prix. Félicitations à S90K pour le premier prix !
