• OBJECTIVE:

To promote Malaysia’s country and its 61st independence with the welcome of amateur radio enthusiasts in the country. The 9MDXC GIS takes steps to participate in enlivening the national independence celebration while promoting amateur radio activities specifically in ‘high frequency’ (HF) in permissible ‘modes’ and ‘bands’.

Participation throughout Malaysia in particular & throughout the archipelago in general. DX station is a priority.

3. Successful individuals with the number of 61st CQ Merdeka stations are eligible to receive the following award:

A. Bronze : Valid QSOs with 7 stations of the 61st CQ Merdeka.

B. Silver : Legitimate QSOs with 8 stations of the 61st CQ Merdeka.

C. Gold : Legitimate QSOs with 15 stations of the 61st CQ Merdeka.

D. Platinum: Legitimate QSOs with 15 stations of 61st CQ Merdeka in ‘ Phone ‘ mode and at least 7 legitimate QSOs in ‘ Digital ‘ or ‘ CW ‘ mode.
