By VK5GR — After a successful trip in July 2020, I will be returning to Kangaroo Island in January for a longer break. This will be a part time holiday style operation, while we spend 2 weeks over the summer holidays away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The nature of the station that will be taken hasn’t been decided yet. As we get closer, details of what bands and modes will be active will be announced.

Ce sera une opération de style vacances à temps partiel, pendant que nous passerons 2 semaines pendant les vacances d’été loin de l’agitation de la ville. La nature de la station qui sera
prise n’a pas encore été décidée. Au fur et à mesure que nous nous rapprochons, les détails des bandes et des modes qui seront actifs seront annoncés.

According to Henry, LU4DXU the Belgrano II Base in Antarctica (LU1ZG) is now active throughout October 2020. QRV mainly on FT8. IOTA reference is AN-011 (Ross Island). QSL via LoTW or LU4AA. Keep an eye on W.A.P Worldwide Antarctica Program for any further info.
